Belcar und BSC  ( previous BTCS)

Due to the ever increasing costs for the use of a GT3 vehicle, the Belcar starting field in the last season was getting thinner and thinner, sometimes there was only 15 cars in the race

Therefore, the GT 3 class for the 2012 season has been scrapped, the main class that runs for victory, is the     GT 4 category. the classes S 2 and T 1 to T 3 of the BSC (formerly BTCS) May continue to participate in the Belcar races.

Most races run over a distance in time of 150 minutes, the exceptions are the 500 miles of Stavelot and the     500 miles from Zolder. The 500 miles of Stavelot replace the existing 12-hour race of the BTCS, which focuses only on Sprint races in 2012.

It will be held three sprint races at most race weekends. The first race lasts one hour, the second and the third race 30 minutes. The Star lineup for the first two races will be determined in separate forty-minute qualifying sessions. The third race, the first eight of the second race will start in reverse order, as in previous years, the WTCC.

So here is the cost reduction achieved by the duration of the race. The previous classes of BTCS will also be subscribed in the BSC. Of course, the big cars of the S1, are very highly modified silhouettes, go for the win
